Description
Abercelyn is a two-storey former rectory built in a simple late Georgian style. It is constructed from local slatestone rubble and features a slate roof with rendered chimneys. The main section of the house has a hipped roof and consists of three bays, with the right bay extended to create an advanced gable. The entrance is located to the left in the central bay and includes a 20th-century glazed porch. At the rear, there is a service wing. Both the main and service wings have twelve-pane 19th-century sash windows on both floors. The ground floor features a wrap-around open verandah with a slate roof, supported by simple columns. On the rendered southwest side, there is a small-pane canted bay window. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
