Description

The lofted cartshed at Tyddyn Eglwys is situated at right angles to the rectory and is located along the eastern side of the front garden or courtyard. It is constructed from coursed, mortared, rubble masonry and features a slate roof with a tiled ridge. The building is set into the slope of the land, with the loft entrance facing west and accessible by a short flight of stone steps. The eastern wall looks out onto an enclosed yard and includes two cartshed bays at ground floor level, each topped with a flat head made of a massive stone. Above each cartshed bay, there is a four-paned light positioned under the eaves. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
