Plas Brondanw Cottages

Plas Brondanw Cottages is a rectangular gabled building that stands two stories tall with an attic and a raised ground floor on the garden side. It is constructed of rubble and features a shallow-pitched slate roof with stepped gable parapets. The building has a plain central chimney with weather-coursing.

The west gable, which faces the gardens, is symmetrical and includes a wooden Tuscan doorcase that is applied decoratively at the center of the ground floor. This doorcase is topped with a moulded pediment and is flanked by a narrow 8-pane window. In front of the doorcase, there is a raised platform with stone steps leading to the garden level on both the right and left sides, with an arched recess below. On either side of the doorcase, there are two recessed 16-pane sash windows on both floors, all set in reduced openings. At the apex of the gable, there is a small 12-pane sash window with a segmental niche above it.

The north side of the building features modern 12-pane windows, along with a 15-pane glazed door to the right; all of these openings have been altered. The east gable and the ground floor of the south side have similar doors and windows, while the first floor of the south side includes a 9-pane steel-framed, arched-headed window that dates from the mid-20th century.

The interior was not inspected during the survey.
