Description

The Fish & Chip Bar, dating from around 1800, is a group of three-storey buildings featuring two-window fronts that are roughcast, pebbledash, and scribed rendered. The roofs are made of undulating old slate, with a rendered chimney stack at the right end and a rubble and brick stack at the left end. The buildings have small pane sash windows of varied proportions, with No 354 showcasing architraves, cills, and lintel bands.

No 352 has a Victorian shop front that includes fascia end brackets, panelled pilasters, colonettes, and a foliage trail band above a splayed entrance with a half-glazed door. The shop front of No 354 has been altered but retains panelled end pilasters and a four-panel door in a splayed entrance. No 356 features a six-panel shop window with framing panelled pilasters and a cornice, along with six-panel and half-glazed doors to the left, both equipped with overlights.

At the rear, there are various sash windows, while the lower brick cross range for Nos 352 and 354 has been partially demolished. No 352 has a renewed roof, whereas the rear of No 354 is semi-derelict.
