Description
Tre-felin Cottages consists of four pairs of two-storey, three-window cottages located in Llandegai. The cottages are built from roughly coursed rubblestone with buttered pointing and feature a continuous hipped slate roof. Each cottage has three 2-light 12-paned casement windows with raised brick surrounds on the first floor, and two 2-light 16-paned casements on the ground floor, positioned on either side of a central hip-roofed porch that has carved timberwork on the front and sides. The building has three ridge stacks, with one located near each end and a larger stack in the center that is shared between two cottages. At the rear, there is a single-storey lean-to that is also shared between the two cottages, featuring lower and set-back sections at each end for each cottage.
The front, side, and rear of the cottages are roughcast and painted. One of the end ridge stacks has been truncated, and the main lean-to at the rear has been raised to the eaves level of the main building. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
