Description
Tre-felin Cottages consists of four pairs of two-storey, three-window cottages located in Llandegai. The cottages are built from roughly coursed rubblestone with buttered pointing and feature a continuous hipped slate roof. Each cottage has three 2-light, 12-paned casement windows with raised brick surrounds on the first floor, and two 2-light, 16-paned casement windows on the ground floor. These ground floor windows are positioned on either side of a central hip-roofed porch, which has carved timberwork on the front and sides. The building has three ridge stacks, with one located near each end and a larger stack in the center, shared between the two cottages. At the rear, there is a single-storey lean-to that is shared between the two cottages, featuring lower and set-back sections at each end for each cottage.
The front, side, and rear of the cottages are roughcast and painted, with late 20th-century replacement windows and some altered openings. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
