Description

Tre-felin Cottages consists of four pairs of two-storey, three-window cottages located in Llandegai. The cottages are built from roughly coursed rubblestone with buttered pointing and feature a continuous hipped slate roof. Each cottage has three 2-light, 12-paned casement windows with raised brick surrounds on the first floor, and two 2-light, 16-paned casement windows on the ground floor, positioned on either side of a central hip-roofed porch that has carved timberwork on the front and sides. The building has three ridge stacks: one near each end and a larger stack in the center that is shared between the two cottages. At the rear, there is a single-storey lean-to that is shared between the two cottages, with lower and set-back sections at each end for each cottage. The rear is roughcast and painted. The interior was not inspected at the time of the survey.
