Description
Ty'n Llwyn Farm features a tall, three-bay open-fronted hay barn that faces north. The barn is constructed from rough quarried rubble with coarse mortared joints and has a large slate roof that extends over a passage at the rear of the southwest barn. The open front is defined by full-height stone piers, while the right-hand gable wall and the rear of the barn have two tiers of vents.
Inside, there are bolted king-post trusses, a blocked loft opening in the eastern gable, and a doorway that leads to a broad passage connecting the barn with the cattle sheds located on the south side of the yard.
