Description
Ffriddoedd Farmhouse is an early 19th century vernacular farmhouse that is single storey with an attic, featuring pebbledash elevations. The roof is slate, hipped, and tall, with four grouped chimney stacks at the apex. The front has gabled attics; the right attic includes a sliding small pane sash window, while the left attic has a small pane casement window. Below these attics, there are 16-pane sash windows flanking a pitched roof porch, which has a square-headed entrance and a recessed modern door.
On the right side, there is a Victorian splayed bay window with small pane casement windows and a fishscale tiled roof, along with a 12-pane sash window beyond it. The rear has gabled attics with casement windows and a central gabled stairwell projection. There is also a low hipped roof extension set back on the left side, featuring casement windows and boarded doors, with double doors at the rear.
Inside, the farmhouse retains a steep and narrow staircase, boarded doors, and a Regency chimney piece on the ground floor. It is currently used as student accommodation.
