Description
The gates, gate piers, and railings at the northwest entrance to the church of St Peblig are notable features from the 19th century. The double cast iron gates are flanked by railings that are set between square freestone piers, each topped with projecting pyramidal caps and ball finials. The railings have pyramidal finials, and the stanchions of the gates feature similar but larger finials. On the left side, the railings extend to a third square pier. The pier on the right side is adjacent to a rubble stone wall that encloses the rear of the Church House.
