Description
The Sea-front Terrace, which includes the Casino and Amis Reunis, is a long quay with an irregular layout. It features a structure with parapetted steps and a subway that connects the road to the quay. The quay itself is paved with flags and has a rubble revetment, with a wide flight of stone steps leading down to the water at its center. The Amis Reunis is positioned at an angle to the south, creating the appearance of a boat moored at the quay, and includes a concrete faux boat with two tall masts.
The Casino is located in the middle of the quay, directly across from the steps and adjacent to the terrace revetment of the hotel. It has a partially rendered rubble logia with three round-headed arches supported by Tuscan columns in the center. There is a balustrade on top, featuring three sections of turned balusters set between solid piers, and moulded copings. Steps lead up to the left and right towards the upper hotel terrace, although these are currently blocked off. To the north of the quay, there is a square walled projection that contains a subway-type stair access to the road above, topped with a balustraded parapet.
