Description

This is a Type 6 mark 1 telephone call box made of cast iron, designed for assembly on site. It features a domed roof and four lunettes that contain embossed crowns above red-lettered opals, along with ventilation slits. The sides and door are margin glazed, while the back is plain with symmetrical cable entry holes. There is no identifying manufacturer's plate, and the crowns in the lunettes are of the replaceable type introduced in 1955. The interior has been modernised.
