Description

Y Castell Public House is a three-storey building with a two-window facade, featuring scribed render on the front. It has slate roofs, narrow eaves, and cement render chimney stacks. The building primarily has sash windows, with No 89 displaying small-pane windows and frosted glass lower sashes for the bar area. There is a bracket hood over the doorway, which contains a six-panel door and a fanlight. No 91 features fixed glazed windows on the ground floor and a six-panel door. The left gable of the building is finished in scribed cement render and includes small horned sashes and a blocked doorway. The rear of the building mostly has 12-pane sashes, with No 89 rendered and No 91 constructed of rubble. No 89 also has a two-storey cross range with a tall chimney stack.
