Description

Carreg Fawr is a farmhouse featuring unpainted render on the front and sides, with a rubble stone rear and slate roofs supported by two brick ridge stacks. The building has slate gable coping and is one and a half storeys tall, with gables at each end. There are two projecting gables, one on the west front and one on the east rear, with gabled porches situated between the main gables on both sides. The farmhouse has timber small-paned windows that include mullion and transom divisions, similar to those found on other island farms. Each gable has a small three-light window on the first floor and a larger three-light window below. The porches feature square-headed entries with ledged doors inside. The south end gable also has a similar three-light window on the first floor.
