Description

The former sea wall at Penmount Chapel is a rubble wall that stands approximately 1.5 to 2 meters high, featuring ramped coping. It begins on the left side next to a later and taller wall that leads to the former Council yard, and it extends beyond a gated entrance in front of the school hall and chapel. The wall curves around the southern end by the organ chamber and then turns back towards Penmount Terrace, ultimately returning to the adjoining end wall of the chapel. The inner side of the wall is largely overgrown.
