Description

The walls to the Chapel and Ty Capel are made of rubble stone, featuring stepped, roughly squared stones as coping. These walls line both sides of the footpath next to the chapel and the front of Ty Capel, and they also run along both sides of the path leading up from the Abbey ruins. Additionally, the walls enclose the rear areas of both the chapel and Ty Capel. There are two large square piers at the chapel gateway. Similar walls also enclose the garden to the north of Ty Capel, which includes a lean-to outbuilding attached to the back wall.
