Description
The walls bounding the path known as The Groves are constructed of stone rubble with rough capping. They run along both sides of the path that leads from the northeast entrance to the Cathedral churchyard, extending eastwards to the junction with the path that leads to Priory Well, which is listed separately. At this junction, the path turns southwards towards the Struet. On the south and west sides of the path, there is a high wall featuring a pair of tall stone gate piers with capping. In contrast, the wall on the east side of the path is much lower in the section where the path descends to the footbridge over the river Honddu, located to the south of numbers 80 to 83 The Struet.
