Description

This is a pair of open-sided hay barns located in the center of the upper farmyard at Glynllifon College Farm. They feature half-hipped slate roofs and are constructed from local rubble, with red brick used for the jambs, gables, and infills. Each barn consists of four bays and has some infill on the sides. The gable ends are equipped with patterned ventilators, although the north-western barn has its ventilator blocked. The tall openings at the gable ends are topped with slate lintels. A segmental arched corrugated iron roof connects the two barns, which are supported by king-post trusses. Each barn is similar in design to another barn located near the watermill.
