Description
The hay barn located to the south of the watermill is a tall, open-sided structure with six bays, built from honey-coloured stone and featuring red brick dressings. It has a half-hipped slate roof. The gable end facing the mill has a tall opening with a slate lintel and patterned ventilation holes above it. On the north-west side, some openings have been partly filled in, but the left-hand side retains its original full-height openings. An added corrugated lean-to is present on this side. The tall opening at the south-west end has also been partly filled in but still features diamond-patterned ventilators above. Inside, the barn has king-post trusses with two tiers of purlins.
