Machinery Workshops to north-west of Stables at Glynllifon

The Machinery Workshops, located to the north-west of the Stables at Glynllifon, are a notably large group of outbuildings linked to the kitchen gardens. These structures are arranged around a courtyard and include a wagon shed, barn, and potting sheds. They are built of rubble with hipped slate roofs.

The south side, which faces the stables, has undergone alterations, including the addition of new windows and the blocking of slit ventilators. The north side, overlooking the kitchen gardens, features lean-to potting sheds with small-pane windows and a boiler housed in a shed at the westernmost end.

On the west side, which faces the road leading to the farm, there is a tall semicircular arched entrance beneath a gable, flanked by distinctive gabled pilasters. This design element is also seen around the walled gardens and in other areas of Glynllifon. The courtyard contains some modern additions, but there are still some retained boarded doors and red brick dressings.
