Description
6 Holywell Terrace is part of a terrace of six single-fronted, two-storey houses built from square coursed rubble with graded slate roofs. The roof of No 12 has been replaced with thin square slates, and the stacks are roughcast, except for a brick stack on the left side of No 12. Each property features a round-headed doorway on the right, with the voussoirs exposed on No 12 but concealed by render on the other houses. Above each doorway, there is a painted tympanum above a replaced door. The windows have stone lintels on the lower storey and are positioned beneath the eaves on the upper storey. The original windows have been replaced with mainly small-pane top-hung casements. The right gable end of No 2 is pebble-dashed and has an external stack, while the left gable end of No 12 is made of rubble stone. There are additions at the rear. This terrace belongs to a group that includes 2-12 Holywell Terrace.
