Description
The well in the garden wall at Plas Newydd features a pointed arch alcove that holds a water-filled stone basin. This arch is adorned with a modern iron gate displaying the Wynn family emblem of a double-headed eagle. The well is supplied by a conduit that channels water from a nearby pool in the woods, which is now silted up and located approximately 30 meters from the house.
