Description
Bettws is an early 19th century farmhouse that features a two-storey, three-window range with a service wing added to the rear, creating a T-shaped plan. The building is constructed from local rubble masonry that is heavily mortared, with large stones used as quoins. The southwest wall of the service wing is also mortared. The roof is covered with small slates, has a tiled ridge and copings, and includes roughly dressed rectangular gable stacks with capping. The principal range faces southeast towards the road and has a central doorway with a gabled porch. The windows are four-pane horned sashes with slate sills. The single-storey service wing has a doorway located in the angle to the left of the northeast wall, and to the right, there is a horned sash window featuring three panes in the upper section and a single pane in the lower section. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
