Description
Ty Croes is a single-storey house with attached outbuildings, built from local stone with a rendered finish and a slate roof that is partially covered with cement. The house features a large square stone chimney on the left and a rectangular chimney on the right. On the left side, there is a gabled 20th-century porch that covers a boarded door, while on the right, there is a square four-pane sash window. At the left end of the house, there is a lower block with a similar window. Attached to the right is a former stable with a single door, and further right, there is a lower outbuilding with a stable door that is falling into ruin.
The entrance leads into a shallow lobby formed by the main chimney, with a steep wooden stair positioned at right angles against the side of the chimney. The main part of the house contains two rooms, separated by an early 20th-century partition. The left room has a large fireplace that is partially blocked and papered over. The kitchen is located to the left of the lobby. The upper floor features old roof trusses that are also papered over and includes two bedrooms.
