Description
Plas Bach is an early 19th-century farmhouse that stands two stories high and features a three-window range, along with a storeyed service wing at the rear and a lean-to porch at the angle. The building is constructed from rubble masonry, with large stones used as quoins, while all sides except the principal elevation are pebbledashed. The roof is covered with small slates, has tiled copings and ridge, and includes rendered gable stacks.
The principal elevation showcases a reset 16th-century doorway that features a shallow pointed arched head within a rectangular frame, complete with moulded jambs and weathered shields in the spandrels. The windows are 16-pane hornless sashes with slate sills; the ground floor windows have cambered voussoir heads, while the first-floor windows are positioned directly under the eaves. The rear windows have been replaced with modern timber-framed casements.
The interior was not inspected during the survey, but the owner has indicated that it has been modernised and does not retain any original features.
