Description

This is a three-storey, four-bay house and shop, likely dating from the late 18th century. The front is finished with scribed render and has a slate roof, with roughcast stacks at each end. The shop front is a later 20th-century addition, featuring double panel doors to the left of centre, above which is an overlight, and five round-headed lights to the shop window on the right. Above the shop window is a plain fascia. A two-storey bow window is set on the left side. The lower storey of the bow window has plain glazing, while the middle storey is wider and projects on brackets, featuring two-pane sash windows. The middle and upper storeys have windows arranged in groups of three and one. The middle storey has three sixteen-pane sash windows within moulded architraves, and the upper storey has sash windows with twelve panes.

At the rear are hornless sash windows, some inserted and some replacements, along with two doors in the upper storey, providing escape access via an external staircase. The interior has been modernised, but originally followed a double-depth plan. A rear staircase is open-well and has a wreathed handrail.
