Of limestone ashlar over channelled rustication in the lower storey, slate roof on a moulded stone cornice, with skylights and end pebble-dashed stacks. Entrances are in the inner bay and have panelled doors and an overlight. The outer bays have bay windows with wooden mullions and transoms. Across the whole front is a lean-to veranda added in the early C20. It has a tile roof, turned wooden posts and balustrade, and is brought forward under a gable in the centre. The middle and upper storeys have paired 2-pane sash windows in the outer bays and 2 single similar sashes in the central bay. The upper storey has a sill band.
