Description

The Edinburgh Road Aqueduct, located on the Union Canal in Linlithgow, was designed by engineer Hugh Baird around 1820. It features a segmental arch and has a tall parapet. The structure is made of squared, coursed, and stugged sandstone, with coursed whinstone rubble used for the parapet.
