Description
Bridge No. 43 on the Union Canal in Linlithgow was designed by engineer Hugh Baird around 1820. It features a segmental arch and has a low stepped parapet topped with railings. The bridge is constructed from cream squared and coursed sandstone rubble, and the keystone is inscribed with the number '43'.
