Description
Bridge No. 32, located at the Main Road in Winchburgh, is a canal bridge dated 1820, designed by engineer Hugh Baird. It features a segmental arch constructed of coursed stone, with slab copings. Numbers are inscribed on the keystones. The Union Canal itself is designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument (SAM No. 4170), having been scheduled on 15 December 2003.
