Description

The Camps Viaduct is an 1885 structure built for a branch mineral railway leading to Camps. It comprises nine high, segmental brick arches supported by rock-faced snecked rubble piers. A rubble parapet runs along the top, fitted with an iron railing. The viaduct features rounded cut-waters and is partly located in Mid Calder, spanning the River Almond.
