Description

The statue of Queen Victoria at Balmoral Castle was created by Sir Joseph Edgar Boehm in 1887. It is a full-height bronze portrait of Queen Victoria standing in ceremonial clothing, featuring a skirt embossed with the Tudor rose, a crown, and a veil. She is depicted holding an orb and sceptre. The statue is set on a tapering pedestal made of squared, rock-faced granite, which includes an inscribed panel in the center.
