Description

Poldullie Bridge, dated 1715, is a notable single semicircular arch bridge spanning the River Don. It features a steeply humped carriageway with a span of 70 feet. A commemorative tablet is located above the south keystone, inscribed with 'John Forbes / of Inverernan / 1715'. The bridge is constructed of rubble with voussoirs and has a coped parapet. To the north, there are concrete buttresses, and large areas of non-traditional cement pointing are present. The bridge is approached by a long path on the west bank.
