22 Broad Street, Stirling

22 Broad Street in Stirling is an early 19th-century, three-storey, three-bay classical tenement that features a shop on the ground floor and a pend. The building is constructed of ashlar and rubble with margins at the rear, and it has a projecting bandcourse, cill detailing, and an eaves band. Framing pilasters are present above the ground floor.

On the south elevation facing Broad Street, there are four bays at the ground level. To the right, there is a tall segmental-arched pend with a shop door that has a round-arched fanlight, flanked by two arched carriage windows on the left. The upper floors have regular fenestration.

The north elevation features stone-mullioned bipartite windows in the center at the ground, first, and second floors, with a segmental-arched carriage pend to the left. There are additional windows above on the first and second floors, and more windows to the right at all levels.

The building has timber sash and case windows with 12-pane glazing, and the ground floor windows have arched heads. The roof is covered with grey slates and includes a stack on both the west and east gables, each with four cans.
