Description

These are a group of cottages, likely dating to the late 18th or early 19th century, forming part of the Deanston Mill complex. They are built of sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings and slate roofs. The cottages are arranged around a small courtyard. The windows are mostly hornless sash windows. The cottages, designated 8-11 Deanston Cottages, reflect the planned development of housing for workers at the mill.
