This is an early 19th century set of workers' cottages, originally two storeys and with an attic. The terrace comprises five blocks, now numbered 16 to 22. Numbers 12 and 14 have an off-centre front door, paired central doors, and enlarged windows. The buildings are constructed of rubble with rendered margins and stugged quoins. The slate roof is punctuated by stacks built on the party walls between the cottages. Two canted gabled dormers are present on each block, with smaller, flat-headed dormers added centrally. Additional windows have been inserted. The statutory address is 12-22 Teith Street, Deanston Mill, Deanston.
