18 Teith Road, Deanston Cottages, Deanston

This is an early 19th century row of workers' housing, built as two storeys and with an attic. The buildings are arranged as a terrace divided into five blocks, now numbered 16 to 22 Teith Road, Deanston. They are constructed from rubble stone with rendered margins and stugged quoins defining the corners. The original layout included an off-centre entrance door, a pair of central doors, and windows at numbers 12 and 14, though some windows have been altered or added since. The roofs are slate-covered, and there are chimney stacks built on the party walls between the properties. Each block features two canted gabled dormers, with smaller, flat-headed dormers later added to the central part of each block. The statutory address is 12-22 Teith Street, Deanston Mill, Deanston.
