Description
Built possibly circa 1870. Large asymmetrical baronial villa, built of rock-faced red ashlar with dummy tower house nucleus, crow-stepped gables, polished detailing, steep-pitched slate roofs, plate glass sash and case windows. Porch on west front in left hand bay, ?tower house? central, recessed bay to right; long south elevation with left bay corbelled to square in Bryceian manner, but partly obscured by modern conservatory; elsewhere on that facade, details include more crow-stepped gables, balustraded single storey bay window and turret on squinch arch.Interior not seen for this report.Plain gatepiers.
