Description
28-30 Broomgate in Lanark is a pair of terraced houses dating from the late 18th century. They are two stories high and consist of four bays. The exterior is made of limewashed rubble with painted flush margins.
Number 30 features a central door with single light windows on either side and three windows on the first floor. Number 28 has its door in the right bay and one window to the left, along with one window on the first floor. Both houses have straight skews, with a scrolled skew putt on the left side of number 28. There are chimney stacks on the left and on the party wall, and the roof is covered with slate.
