Description

Narplan House, located at 63 and 65 Main Street in Rutherglen, Glasgow, is a building from the mid to later 19th century. It stands three storeys tall and features a three-bay shop at the ground level, with a close door on the left side. Above the shop, there are two bays that include paired windows with columned mullions. The first floor has round-arched windows with large arched heads, while the second floor displays stilted segmental arches. The building is topped with a bracketed cornice and has a cut-down end stack. The roof has been re-tiled, and the exterior is finished in painted ashlar.
