Description

This mid-19th century terrace at 7-13 Hyndford Place in Lanark features shops on the ground floor and is two stories tall. The north elevation has five bays, including a curved bay facing Broomgate and one additional bay to the south. The building is constructed with ashlar quoins and architraves. There are four doors, each flanked by shop fronts, and five windows on the first floor with original lying-pane glazing. Both the curved bay and the bay facing Broomgate contain one window on each floor. The roof is covered with piended slate and has corniced stacks.
