6 Keith Street, Hamilotn

6 Keith Street in Hamilton is a commercial building designed by Alexander Cullen in 1904. It is a two-storey structure with a pedimented design and lower, flat-roofed bays. The exterior is made of red sandstone ashlar and features a slate roof. The ground floor has a cornice and wallhead, with pilastered angles. The windows are margined and fitted with plate glass sash and case glazing, and the skews are ashlar-coped.

On the front elevation, there is a pedimented bay on the right. The ground floor has a modern shopfront, while the first floor features three windows and an astragalled oculus in the pediment. To the right, there is a splayed angle with a hoodmoulded clock and a parapet on the first floor. A narrow pedimented bay is located on the right return, containing a window on the first floor. The left side has flat-roofed bays, with a corniced doorway and two ball-finials on the porch at the centre re-entrant. There is a blocked shopfront to the right and two windows on the first floor, with a recessed window to the left that has a consoled segmental pediment and a balustraded parapet. The interior has not been seen.
