Description

1 High Street in Lanark is probably from the late 18th century but has undergone many alterations since then. The building has two storeys and three bays, featuring modern deeply lined render. The ground floor has been adapted for modern shops. On the left side, there is an angle pilaster. The first floor has three windows with painted margins. The roof has straight skews with scrolled skew putts and is covered with slate. There is one window on each floor of the return bay, and a pend with a window above is set back on the west side.
