Description
35 Roxburgh Street in Kelso is an early 19th-century building featuring four closely spaced bays and three storeys. The ground floor has a door on the left and a shop front that has been modernised. At each end, there are giant pilasters that are shared with the neighbouring buildings. The upper floors are rendered and lined to resemble ashlar, with rendered cill-bands. The windows still have their original 12-pane double-sash glazing, and there is a mutuled cornice that breaks forward over the pilasters. The roof is slated with straight skews, and there are brick stacks shared with adjacent properties.
