Description

1-5 Bloomgate in Lanark is a mid-19th century, two-storey, four-bay building featuring shop fronts and a curved angle with Broomgate. The exterior is finished in painted ashlar. On the ground floor, there is one door and modern shop fronts, along with one shop window on the eastern return elevation. A band course separates the ground and first floors, which has four irregularly placed windows and one on the return. The building is topped with a cornice and a piended slate roof.
