Description

Barns House, located on Culzean Road in Maybole, is an earlier 19th century, two-storey, three-bay house. It is constructed of coursed tooled rubble with polished margins. The house features a central recessed door that is topped with a fanlight, and has cavetto reveals and a cornice. Throughout the building, there are 12-pane sash windows. The eaves course is complemented by a moulded eaves cornice, and there are small scrolled skewputts. The house has brick end stacks and a slate roof.
