Description

This is a pedestal sundial from around 1900, inspired by an earlier 18th century sundial at Colonsay House. It features an ashlar baluster shaft with a gadrooned lower section and a moulded base, all set on a plinth. The sundial has a neck moulding and an octagonal table head that supports a copper dial and gnomon.
