Description

2, 4, and 6 Woodmarket in Kelso is an earlier 19th century building featuring five bays and three storeys. The ground floor has been altered for use as shops, but a rusticated pilaster strip remains on the right side. The upper floors are finished in painted ashlar with cill bands at the first and second floors. The original windows are 12-pane double-sash glazing. The building has a cornice and blocking course, with straight skews and brick end stacks. The roof is slated.
