Description
This late 19th-century building at 22 High Street in Jedburgh is a three-storey, three-bay house made of stugged coursed cream ashlar sandstone. It features a shop and a narrow pend at the ground level, with polished margins, stop-chamfered arrises, and shaped cills. To the left, there is a pend leading to Darnley's Close, while the right side has a three-bay shop with plate glass windows on either side of a modern glass door, an awning box, and a cornice above, along with a base course. On the first floor, there is a bipartite window to the left, and the building has four-pane timber replacement sash and case windows. The roof is covered with grey slates.
