Description
East Lodge at Hendersyde Park was designed by William Cockburn around 1840. It features four square-plan, pyramid-capped, corniced sandstone ashlar gatepiers that are connected to curved walls, creating an entrance gateway for the former East Lodge of the Hendersyde Park Estate. The structure includes cast-iron gates for both the carriageway and pedestrian access, along with finely coped ashlar walls topped with cope stones.
